Everything is widescreen these days. In the last month I've bought a widescreen Tv. My new laptop is widescreen. Even I am a bit on the widescreen end of the spectrum. What next, though? Once we all have our widescreen kit will they make extra widescreen so they can sell us everything again? Or will they move to making other things widescreen? I hope it's the latter. I would love a widescreen car, fridge, washing machine, microwave. . . Basically It's about white goods. How about a widescreen toaster for baguettes? The possibilities are endless.
